Welcome to Roger's Bar-B-Que

A Southern Tradition Since 1945

For more than 80 years, Roger’s Bar-B-Que has been serving authentic Southern food with the same values that built its reputation—quality, hospitality, and treating every guest like family.

Roger’s was founded in 1945 by John and Mae Rodgers in West Point, Georgia. What began as a small neighborhood barbecue restaurant quickly became a local favorite, known for its slow-smoked barbecue, homemade recipes, and welcoming atmosphere. Through decades of serving families, friends, and visitors, Roger’s earned its place as a cherished part of the community.

In 1985, Eddie Striblin became the next steward of Roger’s, preserving the original recipes, cooking methods, and traditions while expanding the business for future generations. In 1999, the Hogansville location opened, allowing even more families to experience the food and hospitality that had made Roger’s a household name.

Today, the Striblin family is honored to continue that legacy in both West Point and Hogansville. While we’ve embraced new technology, expanded our catering services, and continue to grow, our commitment remains unchanged: serve exceptional Southern food, welcome every guest with genuine hospitality, and honor the tradition that began in 1945.

Whether you’re joining us for a quick lunch, a family dinner, a wedding reception, a church gathering, or catering a special event, our goal is simple—to create memorable experiences around great food.

At Roger’s, you’re not just another customer.

You’re part of a tradition that has been bringing people together around the table for generations.

We look forward to serving you.
